About Oh My Android
Oh My Android is a free, open-source (MIT) SwiftUI app for macOS 26+ on Apple silicon: an ADB GUI and control panel that docks next to the Android Emulator and also works with real phones. It ships a local stdio MCP server (ohmyandroid-mcp, 18 tools). Your agent can take screenshots, read the UI tree in dp, tap and type, switch dark mode or RTL, and read logcat and the app's database. In the app you pick Off, Read only or Full control for agents.
Setup: brew install --cask ateymoori/tap/oh-my-android, then for example: claude mcp add --scope user oh-my-android -- ohmyandroid-mcp (Codex and Gemini CLI work the same way; JSON config for Cursor, Claude Desktop, Windsurf). Also in the official MCP Registry as io.github.ateymoori/oh-my-android.
No account, no telemetry, no cost. Uses the Android SDK you already have.
How to connect Oh My Android to Claude, Cursor or VS Code
Oh My Android is self-hosted. Install it from the source repository, then register its start command in your MCP client's config (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf or VS Code).
