About Costory FinOps MCP

Hosted MCP server and agent skills for building a FinOps agent. Costory normalizes AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Snowflake, Datadog, OpenAI and Anthropic costs, allocates them to teams and features, and lets Claude, Cursor or any MCP client investigate and optimize spend.

Tools: query cost, usage, business metrics, budgets and unit economics with period-over-period comparison; explain a cost change with contribution, timing and event evidence; create and publish allocation rules (virtual dimensions) with preview before publishing; build dashboards, schedule Slack/Teams/email reports and create cost alerts. Write tools preview first and are annotated accordingly.

Auth: OAuth 2.1 in the browser (dynamic client registration), no API keys, Docker or local process. Endpoint: https://app-api.costory.io/mcp (streamable HTTP).
