About Answer Checkup

Answer Checkup is a deep SEO and GEO test that shows whether AI answer engines name your business when buyers ask what to use.

It is new. We launched in October 2026, so there are no customer reviews yet.

What you can do today:
- Free scan: a quick technical check of what AI crawlers can read on your site. It looks at robots.txt rules for the main AI crawlers, llms.txt, schema.org markup, title and meta description, whether your key content is in the raw HTML without JavaScript, and your sitemap. You get a 0 to 100 score and a grade for free. The scan does not ask any AI.
- Scan details, $2.99 one time: unlocks the checks and fixes for that scan.
- Lite report, $29 one time: how often ChatGPT and Perplexity name you against up to 5 competitors you choose, every site the answers cite, how the engines describe your brand with an 11-point brand signals checklist, and short next steps. It is built on 25 buyer questions, each asked once on each engine.
- Full report, $49 one time: everything in Lite, plus a technical SEO crawl of up to 75 pages, 3 to 7 gaps between your pages and the pages AI cites, and a ranked 30-day plan of 8 to 15 actions. Every question is asked 3 times on each engine and the answers are combined.

Reports are one-time payments and never renew, and there is nothing to install. Report buyers can add optional monthly tracking, $19 a month, plus tax, which asks the same questions again each month and shows what changed. Cancel it anytime online. Reports come with Markdown and JSON downloads and stay at a private link for 30 days.

It works best for software companies today. Questions for local businesses and online stores are coming soon.

For AI agents there is an MCP server with a free scan_site tool. Paid reports for agents are coming soon.

What we do not promise: no report can guarantee rankings or that any engine will recommend you. The answers approximate what people see in the ChatGPT and Perplexity apps, but they are not identical.

How to connect Answer Checkup to Claude, Cursor or VS Code

Answer Checkup runs as a hosted remote MCP server at https://answercheckup.com/mcp. Add that URL to your MCP client's config (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf or VS Code) and the tools appear immediately, no install required.
