search_cities

Find cities on Workmode by name or country, busiest first. Leave query empty for the cities with the most places. Returns each city’s slug for the other tools.

get_city

What a city has: how many places of each kind (coffee shops, coworking spaces…), which best-for lists exist there (of: fast-wifi (fastest wifi), quiet (quiet), study (study), power-outlets (power outlets), good-coffee (great coffee), open-l

list_places

Places to work from in a city. Filter by kind, or pick a best_for list; sort by "speed" for the fastest measured wifi. Paged.

get_place

Everything about one place: address, opening hours, amenities, measured wifi, community scores (wifi, noise, coffee…) and recent reviews.

open_now

Places open right now in a city, at the city’s own local time, most popular first. Only places that list opening hours can be counted as open.

wifi_report

How fast the wifi is across a city, as measured: the median download and upload over its measured places, how many are 25 Mbps or faster, the spread by speed band, and the measured places fastest first.

list_countries

Every country with places listed on Workmode, most places first, with city and place counts and the median measured wifi. Returns each country’s slug for get_country.

get_country

One country: its cities (busiest first), the places people have worked from most, and the fastest measured wifi across the country.

new_places

The places added to Workmode most recently, newest first — across the whole site, or in one city.

get_saved_list

A list of places a member has made public, in their order and with their notes — for a link like workmode.co/@username/lists/list-slug. Private lists cannot be read.

How to connect Workmode MCP to Claude, Cursor or VS Code

Workmode MCP runs as a hosted remote MCP server at https://api.workmode.co/mcp. Add that URL to your MCP client's config (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf or VS Code) and the tools appear immediately, no install required.
