About Loppee

Loppee is a nationwide US directory of licensed local pros. Its public MCP endpoint (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in) gives AI assistants five read-only tools: lookup_business, get_trust_card, get_business_reviews, explain_recommendation and compare_businesses. Every result carries Loppee's verification class (Verified, Listed or Registry record) with a fixed disclosure, so an agent can tell a customer exactly what Loppee checked: registration, a contact route and any required professional license. Business owners can also connect their own AI agent with a scoped key and run their Loppee page day to day: profile, hours, customer messages, review replies and job posts. lookup_business

Use this when the user names a business and wants its Loppee Registry match. Returns exact and genuine-prefix name matches with stable ids, coarse public city/state, and truthful Verified, Listed, or Registry disclosure. It does not perform

get_trust_card

Use this when a business is already identified and the user wants its public Loppee Trust Card. Returns the exact business status, disclosure, coarse public city/state, public facts, review context, and citation without account authority, s

get_business_reviews

Use this when the user wants the public customer reviews for one Loppee business id. Supports pagination and star-rating filters, preserves reviewer and interaction labels, masks reviewer identity, and changes nothing.

explain_recommendation

Use this when the user asks why a known published business is or is not recommendable on Loppee. Returns the published class, disclosure, recommendation basis, commercial-neutrality statement, and citation without exposing private weighting

compare_businesses

Use this when the user wants a side-by-side comparison of two to twenty known published Loppee business ids. Returns each business's exact class, disclosure, review context, and citation; unknown or unavailable ids are listed as unresolved

How to connect Loppee to Claude, Cursor or VS Code

Loppee runs as a hosted remote MCP server at https://loppee.com/mcp/discovery. Add that URL to your MCP client's config (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf or VS Code) and the tools appear immediately, no install required.
