convert_file

Convert a file from one format to another. Supports 200+ format pairs (image, audio, video, document, PDF, archive, font). Pass the source file as a URL or base64. Returns a download URL.

upscale_image

Upscale an image 2x, 3x, or 4x using Real-ESRGAN. Adds detail rather than just stretching pixels. Best for photos and illustrations. Returns a high-resolution PNG.

remove_background

Remove the background from an image, returning a transparent PNG. Uses the rembg / U2Net model. Works on photos of people, products, animals, and most subjects.

colorize_photo

Add color to a black-and-white or grayscale photo using the Zhang Siggraph17 model. Best for vintage/historical photos.

restore_old_photo

Multi-stage restoration: colorize first, then upscale and enhance. Designed for vintage photos with damage, fading, or low resolution.

enhance_photo

Auto-enhance a photo: sharpen details, fix exposure, balance colors. Returns an enhanced JPG.

vocal_remover

Separate vocals from instrumental track using Demucs. Returns the instrumental version (vocals removed).

speech_to_text

Transcribe spoken audio to text using Whisper. Returns plain text, SRT subtitles, or VTT subtitles. Supports 14+ languages.

noise_reduction

Reduce background noise from a recording using DeepFilterNet3. Best for voice recordings, podcasts, voice memos.

resize_image

Resize an image to specified dimensions. Aspect ratio is preserved unless both width and height are given.

compress_image

Reduce file size of an image with quality control. Works for JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF.

compress_pdf

Reduce PDF file size using Ghostscript. Quality 0-60 = screen (smallest), 75 = ebook, 85 = printer, 100 = prepress (largest).

merge_pdfs

Combine multiple PDF files into a single PDF. Pass an array of file URLs (max 20).

get_job_status

Query the status of a previously created conversion job by job_id. Use this if a tool returned status=processing.

list_supported_formats

Return a categorized list of file formats supported by the converter, plus the available AI tools. Read-only, does not consume quota.
